Calculator
The calculator runs in your browser. The launch version does not require an account and does not intentionally send calculator inputs to Battery Simple.
Quote-matching waitlist
If you submit the waitlist form, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, postcode, solar status, battery interest, purchase timing and notes. We use it to respond to your request, understand demand and notify you when quote matching becomes available.
Installer sharing
The launch version does not send waitlist details to installers. If live quote matching is introduced, Battery Simple will obtain appropriate consent before sending personal details to installer partners. The form currently includes an optional indication of future interest, but that does not itself authorise an immediate transfer because no live matching occurs yet.
Analytics
Battery Simple uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source, interactions and technical identifiers. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement. Battery Simple does not intentionally send calculator inputs or form contents to Google Analytics.
Service providers
The site uses service providers including Netlify for website hosting and form processing, and Google Analytics for website measurement. These providers may process technical or submitted information as needed to provide their services.
Retention and deletion
Keep form data only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. If someone asks for their waitlist data to be corrected or deleted, respond through the contact channel published on the site.
