Calculator results are indicative estimates only and are not financial, electrical, engineering, legal or investment advice. Actual battery performance, eligibility, STC entitlement, installation price, savings and payback can differ materially.

STC estimate

The calculator uses published STC factors and size taper rules. It multiplies estimated certificates by a user-editable assumed value per STC. The resulting dollar value is not a guaranteed government payment or installer discount.

Energy savings estimate

The savings model is simplified and does not model every factor, including seasonal variation, interval data, time-of-use tariffs, demand charges, degradation, finance, VPP payments, wholesale-market exposure, backup reserve settings or future changes in consumption.

Check before buying

Confirm current program settings and eligibility using official government sources. Seek multiple quotes and discuss battery sizing, inverter compatibility, installation, warranties and expected payback with appropriately accredited providers.
